Cal Lynch, a native Pittsburgher and prominent watercolorist, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Design from the Philadelphia College of Art. He personally studied painting with W. Emerton Heitland of the National Academy, AWS, New York.
Mr. Lynch has signature memberships in seven national art associations where he has exhibited and
received prizes for his paintings. His paintings reside in private and corporate collections. For 14 years Cal taught evening education classes at Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh that included Beginning Painting, Watercolor Painting, and Figure Drawing. He also taught drawing classes the Ivy School of Art, Pittsburgh. His experience in the advertising field includes Art Director, Illustrator and Graphic Designer. He owned his own studio for 35 years where he did artwork and paintings for industrial and non-profit organization. In 2013, Cal opened his own Studio Gallery near Confluence, PA, but recently relocated it to Pittsburgh, PA, at 53 Academy Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15228
