BIOGRAPHY

CALVIN LYNCH, a native Pittsburgher and watercolorist, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Philadelphia Museum College of Art. He personally studied painting with W. Emerton Heitland of the National Academy AWS, New York.
For 12 years, Cal taught beginning drawing, watercolor and figure drawing at the Carnegie Museum, Pittsburgh, night classes. At The Ivy School of Art, Pittsburgh, he taught “on-location” drawing classes for several years.
Mr. Lynch had a varied career in advertising and graphic design. He successfully ran his own advertising studio for 25 years in Pittsburgh completing projects for industrial, consumer and non-profit clients.

Cal is a nationally recognized artist with paintings accepted in over 125 juried shows where he has won numerous prizes. Many of his paintings reside in private and corporate collections.
Visiting this working artist’s studio provides an interesting and educational experience. Visitors are welcome by appointment only.
